Party in a DC Museum

French Art Party

• In partnership with the French Embassy, you can tour the Phillips Collection art collection, have French food tastings, and listen to live jazz music!

  • March 7 (5-8 PM, $20): Bonjour Bonnard (tickets)

  • April 4 (5-8 PM, $20): Garden party (tickets)

National Gallery of Art Nights

• These are back! Tickets are free, but you to enter a ticket lottery about a week before the events to have a chance at the free tickets. Food / drinks can be purchased at the event:

  • March 14: Color Theory Theme (tickets)

  • April 11: Flowers After Hour Theme (tickets)

  • May 9: Art Prom Theme (tickets)

National Museum of Women in the Arts Parties

• Tickets are $25, but they include two cocktail drinks at the event! You can then wonder around the exhibits:

  • March 20 (tickets)

  • April 17 (tickets)

  • May 15 (tickets)

Happy Hour at the Library of Congress

• Thursday from 5-8 PM. You have to reserve your free tickets online ahead of time, and they have food / drinks for purchase (tickets)

Study at the Library of Congress

Step 1: Check the Hours

• Monday-Saturday 8:30AM - 5:00 PM (hour)

Step 2: Check your Bag

• You can’t bring a bag into the reading room - you will have to carry you computer / books. You can check your items in the cloak room at the entrance of the Library (cloak room).

Step 3: Get a Library Card

• Sign up for free onsite! Bring a form of ID (instructions)

Step 4: Enjoy!

• It is a quiet space, so please be respectful of other researchers :)
